Positive Pathways: Strength Based Approaches to Youth Development -- Introduction

Insight, Fall 2007
Grantmakers for Children, Youth & Families
Insight, Winter 2007/2008
This issue of Insight explores what it really takes to improve outcomes for youth through strength based approaches that meet youth where they are.

Featuring articles from W.K. Kellogg Foundation, The DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation, The Annie E. Casey Foundation, Inc., and Youth Transition Funders Group, this issue offers a snapshot of the challenges that youth-service providers face and the successes some have had in addressing the unique needs of youth. Contributors offer their insights, along with concrete recommendations on how grantmakers can renew their commitment to and focus on older youth.
