GCYF has again partnered with the Alliance for Justice to present a series of webinars on policy and advocacy grantmaking. The three part series will give foundations the opportunity to explore how foundations can engage in various types of advocacy and provide an overview of activities that constitute advocacy and public policy work; evaluate the impact of advocacy grants; and explore advocacy activities that foundations themselves can engage in. Each session in the series will be offered twice and will be presented in the context of a different issue effecting children, youth and families.
Are you interested in learning more about how to evaluate advocacy grants? This training webinar will be discussed in the context of community change (September 2010 session) and economic security (March 2011 session).
