GCYF is pleased to announce the newest issue of Insight, Improving Opportunity Paths for Boys of Color, Winter 2007/2008.  This issue of Insight explores challenges faced by boys and young men of color drawing on experiences of African American boys in traditional systems, such as education, foster care, and juvenile justice.  Featuring articles from researchers and funders, including the Schott Foundation for Public Education researchers, Ford Foundation, and Casey Family Programs, this issue of Insight recognizes that some challenges faced by boys and men of color mirror challenges faced by many marginalized youth populations in this country, and improving outcomes for all boys and young men of color will, in effect, improve opportunity paths for all young people in this country.
